Quick and Easy Hairstyles

Hey guys! So this weeks blog post is everything hair. This is my Quick and Easy Hairstyles which I have separated the hairstyles into two categories - day and night. I have been using these hairstyles so much recently and I love how easy they are. There are also a few tricks you can do with your hair that I will show you. Bit of a treat for you there! (HA, trick or treat.. Yep, still not funny Beth, worth a try!).

Day time hairstyles

The Half Up Messy Do:

This is my favourite hairstyle for lounging about. I usually do this hairstyle with a 'bed head' and when I have curls from the day before. This hairstyle is still a great idea for shopping, going on a walk or even going to a theme park as it keeps some of it away from your face, nobody likes hair sticking to your lipgloss! EW. Scrunchies are back in fashion right now so by adding this to your hair do will make it look more cute and it also looks like you've spent some time on your hair!

The Bridesmaid Hairstyle:

I love how this hairstyle looks so classy and looks like you may have spent more than 2 minutes on it! All I did was take 2 sections from the front, twist them backwards, hold the two sections together and pop a bobble on it to hold it together.

The Bed Head Pick Me Up:
(Before..)
After..
I don't always do this hairstyle as my hair does tend to get knotty in bed (not in that way, cheeeeky). But this is the quickest hairstyle ever! I love using my Toni&Guy Glamour Firm Hold Hairspray, it works a treat and it also gives such a good texture. I also recommend a salt spray as this gives a natural wave. I also think it looks extra done-up by putting a hat on! As you can see, I couldn't decide which one, so I chose all three.. haha.
Hat 1 - H&M
Hat 2 - H&M
Hat 3 - Topshop
Top I am wearing - Topshop

Night Time Hairstyles

The Blow Dry Look:
(Awfully sorry about the pale arms and the crazy face!). I love that this look is effortless yet still really classy. Such a good trick to do if you're wanting a blow dry but don't have the money for one! All I do is get a section of hair and slighty curl it inwards (like shown in first picture)

The Messy Plait(s):

I firstly made two plaits separately and then plaited both of them with the other part that wasn't plaited. This just gives the plait a bit of an edge and makes it look more different to a normal plait. The only problem I had was that I have layers in my hair so some bits of hair did come out of the plait. I also would wear this in the day time too!

The Top Knot:

This hairstyle is really classy and great for a romantic dinner or for a ball or prom.I do this by holding all of my hair like a pony tail and then wrap it round like shown in the first picture. I then put a bobble on it and then slowly pull at the hair to make it into a bun shape. I then sometimes put some grips/clips in to keep it in place. WHO NEEDS A DOUGHNUT! (not the type you eat.. we all need those types haha).

And that is my favourite quick and easy hairstyles! I am no professional and I know for a fact I'm not the best at doing hairstyles but I did this as it got requested and also, I love trying out new hairstyles and showing you all what hairstyles I am loving right now (I think I need to stop writing hairstyles..). I hope you have enjoyed reading this blog post and also liked these hairstyles! Please let me know if you are going to give one of these a go!

Lots of love,
Beth
(sound like I'm writing a card..)

Layering For Autumn/Winter

First things first, (I'M THE REALEST - sorry, it had to be done) I do apologize that I haven't posted anything recently, naughty me.. I was actually quite stuck on ideas for this weekend but I finally came up with how to layer your outfits. I wanted to do this because it's getting colder (obviously Beth, it is Autumn!) and there is nothing worse than having tons of clothes on that don't look very fashionable and wearing that many that you may look too big for your head (that's just me by the way, not towards anyone else!) Today when I took photos for this blog post, it was very dark outside so I have a different background today.. it's not the greatest but let me know if you do like it! In a couple of weeks, the background may be in London.. yes really! (sneak peek for you there, CHEEKY).

Jumper and Shirt combo

 I also like..
Outfit 1 - Jumper - Topshop, Top - Topshop
Outfit 2 - Jumper - River Island, Shirt - Topshop

Coat on Coat

Firstly, I am sorry that you can see a couple of random pillows under my bed and also Eeyore.. basically, I forgot to tidy up beforehand, oops.
Coat - Boohoo
Faux Fur Gilet - Zara

Laid-Back Bralet

I understand that this may look like a bra, but I promise, it's a Bralet! I know a lot of people that wear these Bralets just on their own but I thought i'd give it a little spin and use a casual top on top of it and lowering one sleeve so that the Bralet shows.
Top - Topshop
Bralet - Topshop

The Winter Warm Jumpsuit

I love this shirt and jumpsuit combo, I had never thought about pairing these two together but now, I love the idea and it's so so good for Autumn and Winter as usually, it'd be too cold for a jumpsuit. I am also obsessed with this chain detail on the shirt!
Jumpsuit - Topshop
Shirt - ASOS
Shoes - Dorothy Perkins

And there you have it, how to layer your Autumn and Winter Outfits! I hope you like this blog post, would be so grateful if you could give this a share to your friends/family! Thank you so much to everyone who is reading my blog and enjoying it :)

Thanks!

My Shopping List (Halloween Edition)

So, it's nearly here, yes Halloween!! I am loving all of the new Halloween inspired clothing and accessories and I want to buy all of them. I thought I'd write this blog post to help you guys make shopping easier and pick out some of my favourite Halloween bits and bobs. Because ASOS and Topshop are my favourite shops right now, everything on here is from these two shops! (I apologize if you're not keen on ASOS/Topshop but who isn't keen on these!?)

Jewellery:

Tatty Devine Halloween Magpie Stud Earrings - ASOS - £33. Even though these are way too expensive for my liking, I love these magpie earings. I like the fact that you'd get away with wearing these before and after halloween as they fit well with Autumn/Winter.

Blood Drip Choker - Topshop - £8.50
I loveee this choker. This would be so good if you were going to a fancy dress party as a dead person (I apologize, I've just realised what I said was really obvious haha). But I love the fact that this is (sort of) in fashion, because it's a choker and I have seen a lot of people wearing them. There is also a cheaper version of this choker on the Claires website (£4.50).

:
ASOS Halloween Cobweb Body Harness  ASOS - £22I really really like this Halloween inspired body harness (I may have to purchase this my self!) I love that you could easily pair this with a LBD (little black dress) and it'll still be amazing for a halloween party!

Accessories:

:
Asos Halloween Devil Clutch Bag - ASOS - £15. I love this bag, I like the fact that it only has a little touch of halloween on it and yet it still looks fashionable.

:

ASOS Halloween Lace Butterfly Mask - ASOS - £8.00. This is great if you're going to a masquerade ball or going to a fancy dress as a bat or a vampire. I love these because they come across as elegant aswell as halloweeny (yes I have just made that up haha).

ASOS Halloween Veil Cat Ears - ASOS - £10. Who doesn't like dressing up as a cat for Halloween? I love that these cat ears also has a veil on it that comes over the face.

 Dresses:

:
ASOS Lace Insert Drape Midi Dress - ASOS - £65.00. I love this dress because 1, it's great for halloween as the lace is very cobweb-like and 2, you can keep it for a special occasion such as a meal out as it just a normal LBD.

:ASOS Structured Knit Dress With Square Neck - ASOS - £45.00. Again, this is a great dress because you can wear this whenever! This dress is great for a devil look!

White Wings Dress by Sister Jane - TOPSHOP - £55.00.  I love the fact that this dress isn't shaped and that it's a free flow dress as this is such a good dress for a ghost look!

    Jumpers:

    Pop Boutique
Halloween Scene Sweatshirt - ASOS - £22.00. I adore this jumper, it's so cute! I love that the model wears a shirt underneath it. This is very casual and great for Autumn and for trick or treating!

Disco Fluff Jumper - Topshop - £40.00. This is my favourite piece! I WILL be purchasing this little beauty. I saw this on Fearne Cotton and instantly fell in love. This is great for a bat or cat look.

    :

ASOS Halloween Jumper With Frankensteins - ASOS - £30.

This is great for lounging around the house or having a night in with the girls!

    Other clothing pieces:

Shiny Leather Cape - Topshop - £110. This is another favourite of mine. The only thing I dislike is the price!!  Capes are really in at the moment so aswell as being something for Halloween in this (such as a bat), it's also in fashion. (win-win!) I love the colours in this, different shades of greens and blacks.

Image 2 of ASOS Halloween Scoop Body with Green Cats Eyes
    ASOS Halloween Scoop
Body with Green Cats Eyes- ASOS - £22. If you didn't realise, this a body suit that you wear with other clothes haha such as a skirt or shorts. I love cats so to me, this is another one of my faves.

    ASOS Nightmare O'Sized Tee
ASOS Nightmare O'Sized Tee - ASOS - £18.00. All I can say is that this is GLOW IN THE DARK. I say no more. I may have to buy this to sleep in! Hehe.

    Shoes/Socks:

Image 1 of ASOS Halloween Socks With Pug Print
ASOS Halloween Socks With Pug Print - ASOS - £4.00. These are just the cutest socks! If you can't tell, the pugs are wearing a pumpkin outfit (TOO CUTE).

Digital X-Ray Foot Ankle Socks - Topshop - £3.50. These are great if you're wanting to go head to toe in a skeleton outfit! But also, if I was you, I'd wear these all year round (why not!).

    :

ASOS LANTERN Halloween Slippers - ASOS - £25. When I first saw these, I thought they were shoes so I'm guessing you'd get away with wearing them out to a party. I do quite like these.. I know, weird.

    Make-up/Nails:

    1. House Of Holland Nails By Elegant Touch - Mental Monsters - ASOS - £7.99. These nails are just so edgy and quirky! I love these.

    2. Lips in Beguiled - Topshop - £8.00.
This lipstick is a gorgeous, dark plum colour. This is great for a vampire/cat/bat look! And this will really make your lips stand out. Topshop lipsticks are to die for, I highly recommend them.

House Of Holland Nails By Elegant Touch - Mental Monsters

    3. Molten Eyes in Lilac Rain - Topshop - £7.00. This is a great colour for halloween and great for a vampire look and also a dead person as you could use this for bruises on your face/eyes.

And that is My Shopping List (Halloween Edition)! I hope this has made you excited for Halloween and I hope it's not made you want to buy too much off of this blog post! This took me a looong time so would be so nice if you shared this on your Facebook or Twitter to your friends/family!
