My Autumn/Fall Makeup And Hair

I have recently been experimenting with my makeup and hair as it is now Autumn and I want a different look for this season. So I have changed to darker, warmer tones in my makeup bag! I have also tried out a few different hairstyles for Autumn. I love Autumn because I can wear different colours on my lips and eyes and I can layer my clothing and go back to wearing a lot of monochrome! (I am way too excited)..

I am going to show you my favourite makeup idea for Autumn and I cannot stop doing my makeup like this, I love it! I will also be showing my favourite Autumn hairstyle in these pictures too.

I apologize for the amount of photo's I have put on! Didn't realise there was so many but I wanted to make sure you could see the details of this makeup look. I love all of these colours and I love the fact that they all match and they are all warm, dark colours. (Great for Autumn and Winter). I have used light purples, dark purples and a purple/black colour on the outer corners. I know that this isn't perfect and that I'm no professional! I am not saying I am good with makeup, but I love to experiment with different brands/colours and I may be a tad obsessed with makeup.. oops.

For my hair, all I did was make messy waves with my straighteners because in Autumn and Winter, either rain or wind is going to ruin your hair completely, all of us girls know this! So making your hair look messy but still classy makes it look like you haven't really done much too it. (In a nice way haha!). I also like to have my hair to one side in a bobble, I think it looks so easy and cute. I also leave two bits of my fringe down to make it look a bit more glamorous!

The makeup I used:

Naked 3 Palette by Urban Decay - Blackheart and
Rimmel London Stay Matte Powder
Rimmel London Match Perfection Foundation
Rimmel London Wake Me Up Concealer
Ted Baker Brush (doesn't have a name, I bought it in a set)
Real Techniques Contour Brush
Real Techniques Buffing Brush
Real Techniques Blush Brush
MAC Lipstick in Craving
Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick Compact in Nectar
Bourjous Paris Bronzing Powder (which is amaaaaazing, I recommend this!)
Ted Baker Eye Gel/Eyeshadow (this was also in the Ted Baker set, so I don't know the name, it's a lilac colour)
MAC Eyeshadow in Velvet
H&M Dark Brown Eyebrow Pencil
Benefit They're Real Mascara
MAC Super Slick Eyeliner

(I also apologize for the sight of my toe in the first photo.. I have the worst feet ever haha)

I hope you like this makeup look for Autumn, I sure do. If you would like to try this look out, please feel free and post a photo on Twitter or Instagram and tag me in it so I can see! (@1bethsheil for both!)

Thursday's Top 5

So I am a massive fan of make-up, some people may say 'obsessed' but I would call it a collection! Haha, Autumn is on it's way, so personally, I like to change my make-up bag for darker, warmer tones (especially lipsticks, who doesn't love a good berry lip!) I realise that this is called 'top 5' but there is 2 top 5's in this blog post. Including lipsticks and bronzers/blushers. I definitely recommend these products for Autumn and Winter and to whoever is looking for new products for their make- up bag! These products are both high-end and high-street products.

Lipsticks and Lip Butters:

So, I did a swatch! Top to bottom (and also left to right in other pictures above) - Revlon Lip Butter in Candy Apple, MAC Lipstick in Lady Danger, MAC Lipstick in Craving, No7 Lip Butter in Romantic and Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in Audacious 245

Here is me badly modelling them.. ( I apologize for the weird, crazy faces I make in these photos!).

1. No7 Lip Butter in Romantic
So this is my latest purchase and I have been wearing this so much! It's such a good colour for when you want to do a bold, strong eye look (such as a smoky eye!). I don't really like the taste of this one haha, I realise that you're not meant to taste them but when it's on my lips, I can taste an awful flavour. Although, I love this lipstick for Autumn and Winter and it goes with every make up look!

2. MAC Lipstick in Craving
Because this is a MAC lipstick, it wasn't cheap but this is such a gorgeous berry colour. It doesn't show so well on these photos but it's actually a light purple, berry colour and it really compliments my skin (I am very very pale haha). This has a lovely matte texture and (thankfully) doesn't have a taste to it!! This lasts so long on my lips, even when I've eaten, it's stayed on.

 3. Revlon Lip Butter in Candy Apple
This is a Lip Butter and therefore it is so so moisturising! This is a glossy mid-tone, red lipstick and I love the fact that it's shiny. This one goes well with an eyeliner look (so with no eyeshadow) as it brings out the features in my face.

 4. MAC Lipstick in Lady Danger
This one is my FAVOURITE! Again, it's MAC, so like 'Craving', this one has many advantages. But also, this colour is gorgeous. It's a really really bright red lipstick and some have mistaken it to be an orange lipstick but when you layer it, you can make it look more red and make it stand out more. Although, you really don't need that much on! The only thing is with this lipstick, it can become dry and therefore the lipstick can crackle later in the day.

 5. Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in Audacious 245
This is an orange toned lip crayon, and I adore this colour. This is also matte but I like to add some Vaseline on top of it to make it stay on my lips longer and also to make it glossier. Again, this one can crackle aswell and I do have to keep touching it up so that it doesn't fade. But I love the colour orange and I can't wait to wear it in the winter when most of my clothes are less bright and they'll be more monochrome!

My Top 5 Bronzers/Blushers:

Left to right: bareMinerals Faux Tan Matte, Bourjois Bronzing Powder, Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick Compact in Nectar, Bourjois Blusher in Jasper Rose 95 and Ted Baker Bronzer/Highlighter.
The Swatch:
Side to top, to bottom - Ted Baker Bronzer/Highlighter, bareMinerals Faux Tan Matte, Bourjois Bronzing Powder, Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick Compact in Nectar and Bourjois Blusher in Jasper Rose 95.

Ted Baker Bronzer - This has a really shimmery and dark tone to it when I apply it on my cheeks, I use this as a blush too as it has a bit of pink in it aswell as the golden brown tone.
bareMinerals Faux Tan Matte - This is a very dark bronzer so I don't apply a lot but it works a treat and is great for contouring.
Bourjois Bronzing Powder - This is my favourite bronzer and it always will be! It's such a gorgeous colour and really compliments my skin. It also blends in really easily. (Looks like chocolate too!! BONUS!).
Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick Compact in Nectar - This is my favourite shimmer, it's so so shiny but it works! It makes your skin look flawless. Once again, this is a very pricey product but it's totally worth it.
Bourjois Blusher in Jasper Rose 95 - This has the most amazing pattern, it looks so good in the pot haha! It reminds me of the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish. This also smells insanely good!

Hope you liked this post!! Let me know if you want me to do some more blog posts on make-up! :)

My London Fashion Week Outfits

I have been loving this years LFW (London Fashion Week), I have been glued to Daily Mail and Instagram lately as that's where I've seen sooooo many celebrities, magazine editors and bloggers at the fashion events and I have loved seeing their outfits and sneak peeks of the catwalks! I hope one year, I can go! (Keep dreaming Beth..). I weirdly love the catwalks that have crazy clothing and wacky accessories, although personally, I wouldn't wear them! Yesterday (14th September) was the Topshop Unique SS15 Event and it was live on their website, I have watched it and it's incredible, it's so good that they've put it on their website so that anyone can watch it. You can still watch it here at http://www.topshop.com/en/tsuk/category/london-fashion-week-hub-ss15-3334579/home?TS=1410264242559&intcmpid=ABOVE_WK3_SUN_LFW_HUB_1

Here are my outfits that I would wear to London Fashion Week:

Outfit 1:

Hat - H&M
Fur Collar - River Island
Jumper - Warehouse
Trousers - Zara
Shoes - Dorothy Perkins

I love the fact these are all neutral colours and that this outfit is a day-to-night outfit. Collars are really on trend this season so I thought I'd pair my outfit with this gorgeous, classy collar.

Outfit 2:

Hat - Topshop
Collared Shirt - Primark
Necklace - Primark (Limited Edition)
Fur Gilet - Zara
Jeans - Topshop
Shoes - Zara

This is my favourite look as it's a pastel look (I am obsessed with pastel colours!). I loved that I paired a necklace with the embellished collar as they both stand out more together. Also, I have only recently bought this gilet and I am in love with it. It's a really soft, light pale pink and it's great for Autumn and Winter. It's also a massive trend this season, which is such a bonus!!

Outfit 3:

Bralet - Topshop
Skirt - Topshop
Platforms - Topshop
Satchel - Dorothy Perkins

I think I would have to wear this look to a Topshop Event as most of it is from Topshop haha! But I think I'd wear this to a party at London Fashion Week as it's very dressy and lacy. Other than LFW, I'd wear this either on a date or having drinks with friends. I love the fact that both the top and the skirt are lacy. I love this look.

Outfit 4:

Hat - H&M
Top - H&M
Trousers - Wallis
Clutch Bag - Oasis
Shoes - Dorothy Perkins

I love this top so much, it's so comfy and warm and it's a roll neck which is on trend right now. I think it goes so well with these gorgeous floral trousers, I love the spot of orange on them, it makes them stand out and because of this, I paired it with this orange clutch bag.

So, that is my LFW outfits! I am not actually there unfortunately, but I love looking at pictures from London Fashion Week and seeing all of the crazy yet gorgeous outfits. Hope you enjoyed this blog post!! You can follow me on Twitter and Instagram which is @1bethsheil for both of them. Please let me know if you liked this post and let me know what you'd liked to see next! Thanks for all the amazing response, means so so much.
