My Nicole Scherzinger Look

So, I recently saw a picture of Nicole Scherzinger (on Daily Mail of course!) and I thought she looked incredible. In my opinion, she looks good in anything and looks flawless wherever she is. So I thought I would try out her hairstyle, her make-up look and her outfit. I'd just like to point out that I am no professional when it comes to hair, make-up or fashion and I know that I definitely won't look as good as Nicole! I'd just thought I'd give it a go and maybe look a little like her.. nope, that didn't happen!

This is the picture I saw and this is the look that I will be creating.

The hair:

All I did to my hair was curl it with straighteners and flip all of my front hair (fringe) to one side as that is what Nicole had done to hers.

The make-up:

Nicole had bright red glossy lips so I used a red lipstick for the base and a red lip butter on top, for the gloss and shine. Nicole only seemed to wear eye liner and mascara on her eyes so I made sure mine looked classy by smudging it so it didn't look so sharp.

  The outfit:

I was so happy when I found this skirt as it's a similar print to the one Nicole is wearing. I think Nicole is wearing a crop top but I thought, because it's getting colder, I'd wear a cropped jumper. I love the fact this jumper has see-through  sleeves, I think it gives the jumper a bit of an edgy side. Nicole was also wearing a sparkly jacket but I thought I would pair my leather jacket with the leather-looking skirt as it makes them both stand out. For my shoes, I thought these platforms would be better for a day time wear, as nicole as heels on which is more of a night time look.

Top/Jumper - Warehouse
Skirt - Dorothy Perkins
Platforms - Topshop
Jacket - Topshop

Products I used:

Bourjois Foundation (Vanilla)
Seventeen Stay Time Concealer
Rimmel London Wake Me Up Concealer
Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick Compact
Rimmel London Stay Matte Powder
Bourjois Bronzing Powder
L'oreal Paris Eye Liner (not sure exactly what it is called!)
H&M Dark Brown Eyebrow Pencil
MAC lipstick in Lady Danger
Revlon Lip Butter in Candy Apple (35)
Bare Minerals Fan Brush
Real Technique Brushes:
Expert Face Brush
Contour Brush
Blush Brush

Toni&Guy Firm Hold Hairspray
Toni&Guy Heat Protection Mist

And that is my Nicole Scherzinger look! I know it's not perfect but I really wanted to try out a celebrity look. I really hope you've enjoyed this post as it took FOREVER to do! Thank you so so much for reading, please do share this on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. Would mean a LOT. You can follow me on Twitter (@1bethsheil) and also on my Instagram (@1bethsheil).

My Autumn Haul

I have recently done quite a lot of shopping (I know, slap on the wrist for me!). The reason for this is because I am reaaaaaally looking forward to Autumn and Winter and I have been looking at so many new products at A/W14 events so I had to get my hands on bits and pieces new collections!

This outfit is so so comfy yet classy at the same time. I am loving forest-like patterns right now as the colours on this jumpsuit scream Autumn as it includes colours like grey, brown and different shades of blue. This jumpsuit is great for my body shape as it shows off the inner waist and curves. This jumpsuit is great for all body shapes and sizes! I made this jumpsuit less dressy by pairing it with a floppy hat and (my FAVOURITE) new jacket.

Jumpsuit -  Topshop
Hat - H&M
Jacket - Zara
Shoes - Dorothy Perkins

Again, more printed clothing! I am OBSESSED with these trousers. Again, these are so so comfy, yet really smart and classy. The colours are amazing and go so well with a bold colour. Hence why I paired these trousers with this gorgeous maroon coloured satchel. I kept everything else quite plain (the shirt, the hat and the shoes) so that the trousers and the bag would stand out. I love the fact that the bag looks really expensive and it was only £25! Absolute bargain.

Shirt - ASOS
Trousers - Zara
Hat - Topshop
Satchel - Dorothy Perkins
Shoes - Dorothy Perkins

This is the same shirt I wore in the previous outfit as I had only bought 2 tops! But I wore my new cropped jumper over my shirt as for when it gets colder (actually, it's already cold!). This jumper has got bobbly bits on it, I don't know how to explain it! But it makes it have an edge to it and gives it a sort of scruffy look. I am also in love with these patterned trousers (shock, another printed item!) as they have a black and white strip going down the side of the trouser leg which makes the trousers look 100% better!

Shirt - ASOS
Jumper - River Island
Trousers - Topshop
Shoes - River Island

I have done these pictures separately as the bow tie didn't go with the last outfit! I had to put this in my haul as it's my favourite piece.. It's a BOW TIE WITH CATS ON IT. What's not to like haha! Some people (actually most) probably won't like this as it is very different but I just think it is so cute and looks great under shirts/collars!

Bow tie - ASOS

Thank you so much for reading, I have finally bought a (very expensive) camera as you can probably tell the quality of these pictures are amazing ans so much clearer. Hope this post doesn't make you spend too much money..

3 Ways To Wear:

This is my 3 ways to wear my Zara coat. I am in LOVE with this coat and it's been one of the most popular pieces of clothing this year and it's been seen on a lot of celebrities (which makes me happy because now I feel like I'm one, just because I've got the same coat as them haha!!)

A Glamourous Night:

Dress - French Connection
Shoes - Topshop

This look is gorgeous and so classy. If I could, I would wear this everyday! The reason I paired this coat and dress together is so that everything will stand out. If I didn't have the coat there, the look wouldn't be as bold. I've put the coat over my shoulders instead of on so that you can see more of the dress and I've also read that it makes your posture stronger and makes you look taller... (The 'taller' bit hasn't worked for me!) haha.

The Date:

Shirt - ASOS
Jeans - Topshop
Shoes - Zara

The reason I love this look is because I love the fact that the collar is layered and so I like having the collar shown and I think this looks so cute and smart at the same time. I also think this look would be great for a job interview and having drinks  with friends in a nice bar. I also love the fact that it's all very plain colours (white and beige) and then you've got the yellow coat to make all the colours stand out.

A Day Out Shopping:

Top - River Island
Ripped Boyfriend Jeans - Zara
Shoes - Dorothy Perkins
Rings - ASOS

The reason I put this outfit together was because I've read recently that pairing two of the same colours together is trending right now so I chose the yellow top to go with the coat. This is a really easy, classy look for a day out shopping with your friends and everything is easy to get off (not in that way.. Dirty mind!) if you're wanting to try things on in shops.

Unfortunately, this coat is out of stock as it recently went in the sale so everyone was after it. I was a bit silly though as I bought it for the full price!! (Well, my boyfriend did hehe). I have been extra nice and searched for similar coats for you if you are interested.

Polyvore (most of these are pretttty expensive) - http://www.polyvore.com/yellow_coat/shop?query=yellow+coat

Thank you so so much for reading this, I hope you've enjoyed this post as I've loved writing this one as I am obsessed with clothes and fashion (typical girl)! If you have liked this post, please share on Twitter/Facebook/Instagram, it would mean a lot!

July Favourites

I know this quite late but I thought I'd do one seen as though every other blogger/vlogger does one! Haha. I had so many favourites last month but I had to narrow it down so this post wouldn't be long and boring...

My first favourite is the Company Magazine. I have brought this magazine for the past 2 years (I think!) and I have never read a better magazine, this is full with fashion pieces which are at a reasonable price, make up tips, celebrity columns like Jameela Jamil, which are hilarious by the way! And other bits and bobs :) although it does make me really want to go shopping and buy everything in the magazine haha!

My next favourite is my Topshop pyjama top/nightie. This is such a crazy piece of clothing but I HAD to get it!! It's got me written all over it and it was only £20! It's so handy for summer because it's long so you don't have to wear long trousers with it and it's also baggy so it's quite cooling. I can't sleep in it though because I would probably wake up sweating! P.S - I mainly brought this for the ice cream on the front (obviously).

I've been lovvvvving jars and plant pots recently, but for the wrong reasons.. I use these for my makeup brushes. I love the quirky, edgy jars and these two are just perfect!!

I know it's not Christmas yet but I have recently bought some fairy lights!! I already feel so festive, uh oh.. These were so cheap, 5.99 from B&M Bargins! I know, I can't believe I went in there myself.. These go around my dressing table, it makes it looks much better.

My next favourites are both from MAC.. I know, expensive! My first one is the Complete Comfort Creme. This is amazing for getting rid of blemishes and for soothing the skin. It's the best cream for my skin (my skin can be quite dry). The next product is the Superslick Liquid Eye Liner. This is the only eye liner that I have liked and found it easy to use. If you struggle using eye liner like me, this would be an amazing one to start with.

These shoes are a recent purchase and I haven't stopped wearing them!! These are classed as sandals even though they do have a heel on them. Most people either love them or hate them! And I love these type of sandals/heels. I am crrrap when it comes to walking in heels so it's nice to have these because I can actually walk in them! These are from Dorothy Perkins, £25.

My next favourite is the 2nd best favourite! This is the Denman (horse brush looking) brush. My mum bought this for me and I refused to use it for about a week because it looked like a horse brush!! But when I did, I was so shocked. This is so so good for getting knots out and getting your hair smooth. I recommend this to anyone with frizzy, thick hair, like me :(

My final one is the bestestttttt favourite! And it's my Dad :) my dad is incredible and I am so so lucky to have him. He has recently lost his Dad (my granddad) and he has been so strong and I am so proud of him. I love him to pieces :) xxxxx

I hope you've enjoyed this post, I'd just like to apologise for the poop quality of the pictures. It's because they're from my phone. I'm hoping to buy a good quality camera soon so you won't be having to worry about thinking you're going blind!! Haha!

My 3 Top Summer Hairstyles

My first hairstyle is the milkmaid braid, this is an easy, cute hairstyle for when you're running late, or you're too hot to use straighteners/curlers or even if you're just having a 'can't be bothered day' (I have so many of these days!!!) Here's how to do it:

1. Split your hair into 2 sections and plait them.
2. Then wrap each section over your head and take the bobble out and pin it with a grip/clip.
3. I then, will pull on the plaits to make them bigger.
4. I then curl the front section that's down with my straighteners.

The finished look... (Drum roll)

My second hairstyle is my favourite, this look is very classy and it can be worn from day to night. I love this look because it looks like I've made a mahoooosive effort on it, but really, it's so easy to do! Here's how to do it:

1. Put your hair to one side.
2. Section your hair into 2, making sure one section is bigger than the other.
3. Put a bobble/clear elastic band in the bigger section of hair.
4. Wrap the smaller section around the bobble.
5. Then curl the two front sections (fringe)

The finished look!

The final look is for mainly when it's not that hot (ENGLAND IS HARDLY EVER HOT). This is a beachy, wavy sort of hairstyle (not really sure what to call it haha) This is my go-to hairstyle, I love this look!
Here's how I did it...

1.turn the hair straighteners half way (like shown) and then turn the other way further down and then turn them back the other way near the ends of your hair.
2. I then use Schwarzkopf got2b Beach Matte Salt Spray (which is amazing!), this will make your hair look more beach like.
3. Okay so I didn't do this but usually I would use my Toni and Guy Glamour Firm Hold Hairspray to hold my hair in place.

Here's the final look:

Products used:
-GHD straighteners
-Toni and Guy Glamour Firm Hold Hairspray
-Schwarzkopf got2b Beach Matte Salt Spray

Why the name?

So I have finally got round to starting my blog.. I'm not quite sure why the name 'The Trending Dream' popped into my head! Let's look at it this way, when I go shopping, I like to know what's trending and in season, and for the word 'dream', I guess my dream is to do something with fashion and beauty (cringe)! So I'm going to update my blog once every week (maybe more) to do with fashion, beauty or lifestyle related. Sorry for the blabble, here's a few pictures of similar things I will be posting :) thanks for taking the time to read this. X
